What do sports and its values have in common with the activities of those who lead a business? What are the analogies between coaches and business leaders?
On April 11th, at the Palasport in San Martino di Lupari, a roundtable titled "Team successes and leadership lessons in business and sports" was held, discussing the management of teams and leadership in different yet similar contexts. The aim was to showcase the differences but especially the points of contact, at a time when these two areas are more closely linked than ever for various reasons, serving as examples for each other.
The event was attended by three prominent figures in their respective fields:
• Luigi Ambrosini, CEO of Pettenon Cosmetics, the main sponsor of Lupe Basket's first women's team, with the ALAMA Professional brand.
• Giuseppe Piazza, Head Coach of Alama San Martino A1 women's team and the Italian Women's Under 20 National Team.
• Rae Lin D'Alie, Playmaker of Alama San Martino, world champion with Italy in 3×3 and Olympic athlete at Tokyo 2020.
The meeting, part of the Lupebasket in Action project, represented a significant moment of learning and sharing, highlighting the importance of collaboration and leadership in contexts as diverse as they are interconnected.
