Did you know that transportation is the second most polluting sector in Europe?
This year, we join the European Mobility Week 2023, an initiative by the European Union aimed at promoting a more sustainable lifestyle and raising awareness about the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to transportation.
From September 16 to 22, join us in making more sustainable choices in your daily travels, whether it's commuting to work, when possible, or for personal journeys. This means opting for eco-friendly modes of transportation such as bicycles, scooters, car-sharing, or simply taking a walk!
The Mobility Week is not just an opportunity to reduce our environmental impact but also to reflect on energy conservation and contribute to improving our quality of life in the country or city where we reside. It's important to remember that the transportation sector is one of the major culprits of greenhouse gas emissions in Europe, and we must make a concerted effort to achieve the European Union's goal of zero emissions by 2050, as outlined in the European Green Deal.
A small effort from each of us can make a difference: hop on your bike, take the stairs, carpool, or just go for a walk!
